Last minute gift ideas sent by email
Every card in this category is digital, so there is no closing time to beat. Order at 11pm on Christmas Eve and it sits in the inbox a few minutes later. Christmas Day works exactly the same way, which helps when an extra guest turns up for lunch. That makes these last minute gifts easy to send from wherever you are. When you are not sure what someone likes, the Merry Christmas Gift Card lets them choose from 300+ brands and split the balance. Write your message on the product page, then decide at checkout whether the card comes to you or goes straight to them. If you want to look beyond Christmas designs, all our e-gift cards arrive the same way. Last minute gift cards are not a fallback here. They are simply the shortest route from a forgotten name to a present that is sorted.
Last minute Christmas presents for her and him
Think about how they will spend the long summer break, and let that choose the card.
Last minute gifts for her can start with the beach bag. A Sephora gift card covers skincare, make-up and fragrance, in any amount from $10 to $300. For someone planning a few long lunches and a weekend away, a Country Road gift card goes towards linen shirts or a new pair of sandals, from $20 to $300. Our guide to gifts for her has more ideas along the same lines.
Last minute gifts for him can follow the same logic. A JB Hi-Fi gift card goes towards headphones for the road trip or a speaker for the backyard, from $5 to $300. If he spends his summer outdoors, a Rebel gift card covers running shoes, a new cricket bat or gear for the gym, from $10 to $300. For more last minute Christmas presents, see our gifts for men.
Last minute Christmas gift ideas for the whole family
Christmas lunch brings everyone to the same table, and the presents need to stretch just as far. For the host who fed half the family, a Woolworths gift card helps with the big shop that always follows, from $10 to $300. A family day out is easy to sort with Zone Bowling, with values from $10 to $250, and a few games indoors are a fair trade on a hot afternoon. The kids can have a Toyworld gift card, from $5 to $300, so they pick the toy themselves and nobody has to guess which one is already on the shelf at home. These last minute Christmas gift ideas all arrive by email, so the whole family can be sorted from the couch in one go. Nothing needs collecting, and there is no queue to stand in.
If you are buying for a team rather than a family, our corporate Christmas gifts page is the place to start.
